Jolene`s Story

She raced through the streets, hair flying out behind her, and ducked into an alley. The car sped past, but Jolene knew she wasn`t safe yet. She dashed out of the corner, and the goons tackled her. She screamed, and battered at her attackers. One pulled out a knife, and brought it towards her face slowly. Jolene screamed even louder, and wriggled out of the big man`s grip. She ran towards the dock, where she was tackled again, and thrown out onto the dock. She scrambled to her feet, and faced the attackers again. they lunged, and one pinned her again. She yelled in fury as the knife was brought to her face again, and the dock exploded as a large powerful wave swept over them all, and the goons were swept into the water. Jolene didn`t think, she just ran, out into the streets, into a corner, where she hid, and wondered, How did I do that???

Roxy & Max were standing nearby. "Who! How'd you manage that?" aasked Roxy, who was looking perfect even in her tattered clothes with her dagger. She had an immunity to getting wet or dirty unless she wanted to. She looked Max the eyes, gave him a 'come talk to me now' look, & took him over. "She's powerful. Maybe she should come with us," said Roxy. Then she sang Today Was A Fairytale to Max, the music played from nowhere. Roxy gave off a powerful look. She looked like 'Don't mess with me. I may be pretty, but I can still hurt you.'

OOC: There are no main characters no more from the original series, so I ahe Helen of Troy's dagger now! Yayz! Well, there are, but they have new weapons now! Yayz!

Jolene scrambled up. "You`re like me???" she asked in wonder, staring at the two of them warily. "And what do you mean, I`m powerful??" She shook her head. "This is crazy!!!" she moaned. Then, she looked up at them again, shaking with suspicion. "Ancient Greek. Can you guys read it too???" She had only found out last summer, but somehow, Jolene knew it was important.

Just then, another boy crept out of the shadows. "Who are you people??" he asked.

"Yes, you are. Extremely powerful," Roxy added. "Hello, and who might you be?" Roxy asked the boy.
